I am a reluctant reader, I haven’t really ever read for pleasure apart from reading magazines or the newspaper. I usually only read for school assignments. The book I am reading is called Son of the Mob by Gordon Korman. It is an action and comedy book, which are my two favorite genres. I chose this book because I felt it was the most applicable to my type of reading. When I first started to read this book I was drawn into it because there was immediate suspense, which enticed me to read more and more. My reading pattern for this book is that I would read about four chapters in on sitting each day. As I read further into the book I am hoping to reveal more about the main problem in the story. Son of the Mob does not remind me of any books I have read in the past. The part most challenging about this book is the fact that some of the language is a little bit simple which makes the book become a little boring at times. The best part of reading Son of the Mob is the curiosity I have that drives me to keep reading.
